Simple. As in nothing special

Simplicity. This is the name of the capsule collection born from the collaboration of model turned TV star turned web wunderkind Andreea Raicu and Romanian brand PNK Casual.

Personally, I've always been a fan of PNK. Each season, they have beautiful pieces all around and a couple of truly striking ones, albeit not the most original or, sometimes, price appropriate for the quality. Still, it's refreshing to see a local brand do so well in the mass market. And, while I may not be an equally big fan of Andreea Raicu, I've always appreciated her clean style and her consistency. And this collection is defined by these very attributes.

Simplicity includes 12 basic pieces for any wardrobe - a black dress, a long skirt, a pencil skirt, a stretch pant, T-shirts and blouses - which can easily mix and match to cover both your daywear and nightwear needs. The cut is very clean and elegant on all the pieces, which, of course, means you can get a lot of mileage out of them. Still, there's nothing too exciting to be seen and, honestly, nothing you probably don't already have in your wardrobe. With one exception - that long, black skirt is stunning, especially thanks to the pleated detailed in the back. This one is going on my wishlist. The rest - yeah, but neah!

The collection is  available either online, on AndreeaRaicu.ro's newly launched e-shopping platform, or in select PNK Casual shops in Bucharest.
