Gift for the Christmas morning fun

Remember last year's trend of wearing pyjamas as evening wear? The horror, the horror I say - I was never quite able to wrap my mind around that. Thankfully, this winter, PJs are heading back to where they belong: the bed. And, of course, to the Christmas morning opening of presents :)

If you've got a friend or family member whose style you want to improve this winter, look no further that online retailer Avenue 32. This season, they have teamed up with Poplin to create a pair of pyjamas inspired by Tchaikovsky’s the Nutcracker. And trust me when I say you will go nuts over them :)

Poplin was launched by journalist Lucy Archibald in 2010 when, working from her home in India, she couldn’t find any suitable loungewear. Sensing an opportunity, she created handprinted, charismatically old-fashioned collections that are reminiscent of the kind of pyjamas gentlemen would have traded their nightshirt for. For Poplin’s Christmas pair, we are taken to the ballet with the Nutcracker print across a button-down set that would make J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan characters proud. Just the kind of thing to be slinking around in on Christmas morning.
